With more than 30 years experience in the broadcast industry, Jerry McIntosh is founder and president of McIntosh Media, a Canadian film and television production and consulting company established in 2006.
McIntosh Media is currently developing several limited episode series and single documentary programs for Canadian broadcasters. In addition, company principal Jerry McIntosh provides consulting and producing services for a number of Canadian clients, including: the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Canadian Film Centre (CFC); TVO, Ontario’s Educational Communications Authority; Business News Network (BNN); TRIO Fertility; and the English Harbour Arts Association, among others.
Prior to founding the company, Jerry McIntosh was Director of Independent Documentaries at CBC Television and CBC Newsworld. During his 13 years with the documentary unit at CBC, Jerry launched the award-winning independent documentary series Rough Cuts, supervised the launch of The Lens, expanded the series The Passionate Eye, and contributed to the successful launch of the Canadian Documentary Channel.
